Good Can Come From ALL Things!
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who
love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28
An officer is shot and killed.
A husband leaves his wife and kids for another woman.
You are passed over for promotion...again.
Your family is short of the rent that is due with no help in sight.
These things are hard. We don't like going through them and often situations like these push us to the brink of insanity.
The enemy plays upon on our thoughts..."It's hopeless! You're a loser! You'll never amount to anything! Why do you keep trying...you're just going to fail!"
Ahh, but wait. There is a voice much stronger and greater than any other. The Bible tells us that in ALL things...the bad...the worse...the ugly...the sickening...the frightening...and even the good, God works for our good in those situations.
He is a master of bringing beauty from ashes; life from death; vitality from brokenness; healing from destruction.
An officer is shot and killed. What about the thousands who will hear a message of hope...God's hope?
A husband leaves his wife and kids for another woman. What about the testimony of God's grace and provision during such a hard time of loss? And even better...what if he comes home?!!
You are passed over for promotion...again. Perhaps God is using you in the area you are now serving. You may be the only Jesus someone sees..the only one who can minister to the folks in your current area.
Your family is short of the rent that is due with no help in sight. What a glorious adventure to sit back and watch God supply your every need even when the figures just don't add up!
Chin up friends. God works for our good in everything. We just have to look for it and be ready!
