One of my favorite verses comes from the passage in Jeremiah 29:11-13 that says,
“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.’”
Badge of Hope Ministries was created to offer that hope to wayward, weary travelers – those who protect and serve others daily.

My husband, who is a police officer, sent me the link to your site in hopes to help me with my worry…I am so thankful to have found it and read some very insightful things.
I am very new to being a police wife and really struggle with the worry…worry every time my phone rings when my husband is working that it will be worst case scenario…worry that something awful will happen to him. What advice or insight would you be able to offer to this worrier? I pray every day at the start of his shift and it does bring me a sense of peace, but often my worry takes over that peace.
