Fruit of My Spirit - Book Review

I recently signed up to be a book reviewer for the CWA Review Crew (Christian Women Affiliate), and the book I chose to read and review is Fruit of My Spirit, by Deanna Nowadnick.

Though I have never met the author, her warm style of writing and personal tales from her childhood and beyond, help me to feel as if I have known her all my life.  She intermingles her own trials and triumphs with familiar passages in Galatians that describe the fruit all Christians should display: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Some of Deanna's stories forced me to realize that her “missteps and misdeeds” were not all that different from mine or anyone else dealing with the effects of sin.  Yet, God somehow works everything we experience, feel and act upon for good, lovingly nudging us toward the better things He has to offer.

The book is an easy read and gives a personal perspective on an important passage.  Why not pick up your copy today and trace the steps of this sweet lady and her journey with God.
