Just A Few Random Announcements

Hey everyone.  Had a few random announcements I thought I'd pass along.

First off, though I do not personally like Halloween or what it stands for, I do believe it can be used in such a way as to be a positive, God-honoring event.  So in the "spirit" of things (no pun intended), I wanted to post a few amazing pumpkin carvings I found via the Internet.  What do you think?

These last 3 are police related. :)

Second, I wanted to let you know that next Monday, I will have a guest blogger!!  Kathy Collard Miller, Christian author/speaker and wife to retired Lieutenant Larry Miller from Huntington Beach, CA, PD, will be sharing her thoughts on her newly released non-fiction book, Partly Cloudy with Scattered Worries.

You will NOT want to miss this, PLUS we will be having a book giveaway!!  Stay tuned and perhaps you will be the lucky winner. :)

Lastly, Rick and I are beginning to do more and more of our LE marriage seminars.  We will be hosting one for the greater St. Louis, Missouri area on Saturday, February 22nd, from 9 AM - 3 PM at First Baptist Church, Villa Ridge, Missouri.

If you are a law enforcement officer/spouse/significant other or any type of first responder, then you are welcome to this event.  Tickets will go on sale December 1st on our Badge of Hope website at www.badgeofhopeministries.com.  Cost is $25 per couple or $15 per single, which includes a catered meal and materials.

We plan to have several different speakers, one of which is a retired police chief, a former Webster Groves officer, and a Franklin County Sheriff's Department couple who were at the brink of divorce last year, but have come back stronger than ever!  You won't want to miss this opportunity!

Okay...enough of the advertisements.  Enjoy your festivities, whatever that may consist of.  Stay safe and see you back next Monday!

Blessings,
Kristi
