News for the New Year
December gave us some much needed down time from conferences and traveling, but we still found ourselves busy with ministry.
The second weekend of December, Rick and I opened our home for a time of Christmas with Cops. I believe we had somewhere around 30 in attendance throughout the evening.
We served a lot of great food, played a game, and made a number of new friendships. God truly blessed.
Because the holidays are not always so festive for everyone, we were also able to help (financially) a couple of families struggling with buying gifts for their children. We also purchased a number of gift cards to McDonald's, and randomly handed them out to officers or first responders we happened to run into.
Any time you can step outside of your own box and help others, it makes the season that much more meaningful.
As we look forward to what God has in store for 2016, we are reminded that it is for Him that we do what we do.
Please keep us in prayer as our calendar is beginning to fill. You can see a list of activities we will be involved in this year. As always, we rely heavily on those of you who support financially. Without your assistance, none of this would be possible, so a big thank you to all!
